Underbody Center

Underbody Center

At NIM, we produce rust protection systems tailored to the individual needs of the customer.

At NIM, we specialize in custom manufacturing products for our customers.

At the same time, we promise to achieve the most efficient energy and CO2 savings possible.

Cross-ventilation under the car with heated air, auto lift, grated floor, and lighting ensures that you, as a customer, can treat the underbody/rust-proof your cars optimally.

NIM underbody drying is a fan that takes air from the workshop and blows it under the car, so the underbody dries quickly.

Systems can be supplied with gas, oil, or district heating.

FAQ

Operation, Safety, and Documentation

An underbody center must function safely in daily operations and be easy to maintain. We provide a brief operation and self-inspection procedure, allowing you to easily record extraction/air supply, filter pressure, and visual inspection of the spray zone and wash area. When necessary, we assist with ATEX zones and associated documentation, component lists, adjustment reports, and instructions for safe use.

Filters, Environment, and Drainage

Performance depends on the right filter stages and regular intervals. We dimension pre-filters, fine/bag filters (and possibly carbon/HEPA) according to materials and capacity, keeping pressure drop low and minimizing energy consumption. In the wash/drip zone, we plan floor drains, drainage, and oil separators in accordance with local environmental requirements, ensuring proper handling of water and products. This way, the underbody center runs stably – without unnecessary operational interruptions.

Ergonomics, Lighting, and Equipment

Working under the vehicle requires good access and ergonomics. We integrate lifts, hose reels, holders, and LED lighting with high color rendering (CRI), allowing the operator to work precisely and safely. Surfaces and coatings are chosen for wet/dirty operations and easy cleaning, ensuring the center looks sharp – even with high throughput.

Service and Aftermarket

To maintain performance, we offer service agreements with scheduled visits for inspection, filter replacement, and functional tests. You can also purchase filters and spare parts directly from NIM, centralizing all underbody center needs in one place. The result is a solution that delivers consistent quality year after year – with low energy consumption and predictable operation.
